Rick was a family acquaintance and had always been available for questions and suggestions whenever I had a home maintenance issue. Hiring him to do a kitchen remodel was a natural extension of our relationship, however there was still the trepidation of not knowing how the job would turn out. Any reservations were completely unfounded. From start to finish I was way more that satisfied with Rick and the work his crew did on my remodel. Rick quoted a fair price at the beginning. His crew was there when he said they'd be. The work area was cleaned up at the end of each day. Work was completed in a reasonable time. The quality of the work was professional grade. Rick even went to bat for me with the cabinet supplier and their affiliate to get me a bonus feature of under counter lighting that wasn't originally in my purchase. I'm currently making a list of next projects for Rick and his crew to work on.
Remodels are messy, but Rick and his crew walled off the work area to avoid a mess in the rest of the house. They cleaned up at the end of each work day. Very trustworthy to the point they mostly worked on the job with no one at home with no problems what so ever. Work took some time as his crew was split between jobs but things were done within a reasonable schedule. Rick met with the store seller and company manufacturer of the cabinets to review some minor blemishes in the cabinetry. Rick's "negotiating" skills netted me replacements for the blemished parts plus a bonus of some under counter lighting not in the original purchase. The lighting took a while to install but Rick worked with the lighting manufacturer to finally figure out a wiring problem. Their installation and the way they look was a perfect ending to a job well done.
